Hi all, I’m trying out HetSpot as we have very poor wifi performance here. Signal strength and s/n ratio aren’t the issue, but accessing servers is. So I’m hoping that Netspot may be able to help us diagnose the issues.
I’m trying to set up a Yosemite Server with the php scripts but I don’t know where they need to be copied to?
Thanks
OK, I have the PHP scripts working, now I need help setting up iperf. I’ve installed the software according to the instructions but I’m getting a connection refused error when I hit the test button.
You have to type go to /usr/local/bin/ and type ./iperf3 -s to start the service.
Seems like the issue has been resolved. Thanks for updating the thread. For basic speed tests you m ay use default script setting and use the ones that are hosted on our server. Hope NetSpot helped you locate the source of the problem.
