    Hi,

Is it possible with NetSpot Pro to connect to a specific BSSID listed in the Discovery tab?

I’d like to connect to a specific AP for testing but I don’t see that option anywhere.

There is an option for that in your competitor’s app AirRadar.

    Any information is appreciated.

forgot to mention I use virtual access group for my AP’s, so they all appear under 1 SSID.

The specific AP to connect to is decided by your Mac OS X, not by NetSpot or AirRadar, but we’ll give it another shot and update this thread.

Agreed, the OS decides which AP to connect to.

However AirRadar has the functionality to select a BSSID and join to it specifically (provided there is a viable signal)

I was hoping NetSpot Pro would have this functionality but it sounds like it doesn’t.

Here is a screenshot of what the functionality looks like in AirRadar -> http://goo.gl/8DjudG

Luis, we are testing this in all possible situations. Doesn’t seem that anyone is capable to tell Mac OS X to connect to a specific AP/BSSID (even AirRadar). And the option you took a screenshot of is called “Join Network”, not AP. What are we missing here?
